Environment
I have only recently moved to Tower Hamlets but have been amazed to find what a wide range of environments exist within the borough’s boundaries. The name, Tower Hamlets, conjures up the image of a dense urban environment from the traditional working class housing of Whitechapel and Bethnal Green to the modern structures of Canary Wharf. But, like me, if you scratch beneath the surface and you will find an amazing variety of green spaces
opportunities to observe wildlife
as well as the potential to produce your own food.
The urban environment, too, provides lots of surprises, especially for those interested in knowing more about the borough’s history.
