Drive around
Driving around London can often be seen as a nightmare but here in Tower Hamlets we have some great and easy ways to get to key places in the City.
Go South
A12
Follow the A12 south and you can easily get to the Blackwall Tunnel and straight across the Thames. Fantastic for finding ways to the south of London and leading straight down to Kent.
Go North
A12
Follow the A12 north to easily connect to Leyton or if you’re feeling really adventurous continue along it north, past the North Circular and you’ll soon pass through Gants Hill and Ilford….if you still carry on going eventually you’ll end up in Southend…..great for an ice cream or some fish and chips!
Go East
A11
Follow the A11 east to easily connect to Bow and follow it further east to connect into the brand new Westfield Centre in Stratford. Take a day trip for some retail therapy!
Go West
A11
If you fancy a trip further into town then follow the A11 which will take you directly through to Whitechapel and eventually end up in Fenchurch St. Be warned though….you’ll have to pay congestion charge if you go too close in!
